The Green Mountain Unified School District Board consists of 11 members representing the towns of Andover, Baltimore, Cavendish, & Chester.

Andover has one seat on the Board and it will be up for election on March 3, 2026.

The incumbent will not be seeking re-election.

If you are interested in running, please fill out a Consent of Candidate form and a Petition signed by five (5)registered voters of Andover

and submit to the Andover Town Clerk no later than 3:00 p.m. on Monday, January 19, 2026.

Request for Bids: The Town of Andover, Vermont invites qualified General Contractors, who participate in Efficiency Vermont’s Efficiency Excellence Network, to bid on construction services to make high performance energy improvements to three town-owned buildings.

The Andover Zoning Board of Adjustment, which also serves as Andover’s Planning Commission, currently has two vacancies.

 The Zoning Board of Adjustment meets monthly and is responsible for issuing Subdivision, Variance and Conditional use permits

and enforcement of Andover’s Zoning Regulations.  Members are appointed annually by the Select Board for terms of four (4) years.

 The Planning Commission meets only infrequently when the Town Plan, the Zoning Regulations and/or the Subdivision Regulations

need to be amended or re-adopted.
